"Excellent food! Great atmosphere."

I don't throw excellent around very often when talking about food, but Peppercorns deserves it. A colleague recommended this out of the way restaurant and it was well worth the visit.

The dining room was cozy with intimate lighting and no loud music. The service was exceptional; the waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and polite. I was delighted to see only Italian dishes on the menu, no chicken fingers or club sandwiches here.

I ordered the dinner special, flat iron steak with vegetarian lasagna and fresh vegetables, and enjoyed one of the best steaks that I have ever had.
It was prepared as requested and perfectly. The house peppercorn sauce was very flavorful and complemented the dish.

The waiter listed the desserts in such a way that you would want to sample each one. In the end I settled on the panacotta, which was delicious.

The portions are a good size and the value is, for lack of a better word, excellent. If you are in the Airdrie area, give Peppercorns a try. You will be glad that you did.

"Fantastic Little Gem"

My spouse and I are fairly new to the area and were referred to Peppercorns by a friend. It's one of those restaurants that is a bit hard to see if your not really looking, it's on the East side along the highway.

It was a real nice evening for us and the food was fantastic. It was a night out ... not a rush you out the door meal to flip the table that has become the norm at so many places. We were greeted and seated nicely, the waiter and service was great and the food was very fresh and tasteful.

I highly recommend anyone who is not looking to be rushed and wants to sit and have a nice evening, to give Peppercorns a try. The food is great and the atmosphere is as well. We will be back.
